| The World Bank Financed Project Office of Hubei Provincial Communications Department
The WBFPO of HPCD, representing the HPCD, to take charge of the preliminary preparation work of all World Bank Financed Projects including highway and waterway projects. During the implementation of these projects, the WBFPO will be also responsible for the supervision on the projects and report to the World Bank on projects progress. Until now the WBFPO has involved in 6 World Bank Financed projects, including 5 expressway projects and 1 Inland Waterway Projects.
Moreover, the WBFPO is responsible for the execution on TA project components under the World Bank Financed Projects, including the institutional strengthening, studies and training activities.
Since 2004, The HPCD has officially transferred the international cooperation affairs to the WBFPO’s responsibility. Therefore the WBFPO also take charges of the international cooperation affairs representing HPCD. |
